During the school vacation period, our team conducted an on-site survey at a public school to better understand the real-life conditions of the buildings and surrounding facilities. This timing allowed us to observe the campus without disrupting classes, while closely studying how spaces are normally used by students and staff throughout the school year.
Over a two-week period, we assessed surfaces, materials, and environmental exposure to identify common issues such as buildup, wear, and hard-to-reach areas. The goal was not only to observe visible conditions, but to understand how daily student activities, weather, and long-term use affect the school’s infrastructure.
This survey program allowed us to test and evaluate different cleaning techniques in real conditions, helping us determine what methods would be both effective and safe. The insights gained ensured that any future work would be practical, well-planned, and tailored to the actual needs of the school environment.
